Though I could not find exact letters to employers, I did find several examples of formal letters written to Companies as well as other inidviduals. I looked at these in great detail of the format that was designed for each of these. Looking at each of these examples, each set up is a little different. I liked the idea of having the name of the person it is adressed to on the left handside instead of having it at the top of the letter. I also felt that the name and information of the person writing the letter would be more benefical to have it right accross from the employers information. I noticed each of these have a basic font color as well as font style. I also noticed how their is a particular signature of the writer of the letter and under neathe this is the person's name is in print. I decided to include that in my letter as well. Also the alignment and formatting on each of these examples stood out. Instead of indenting for every new point, a line was skipped with no indentation. Lastly I noticed how each example included a date the letter was written, therefore I included this on the top right hand corner of the letter.
